Happy Easter Card for Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #87

Okay…I’ve been trying to squeeze in one of the Waltzingmouse Sketch challenges for a while.  So I finally have one!  I only have 3 Waltzingmouse sets….soon to more than double my collection and I try hard to keep all of the stamps to Waltzingmouse.  I wanted to make an Easter card so I got inventive and used the oval tree shape from Teeny Trees to make easter eggs.  The gingham pattern is from using the solid Teeny Trees shape and stamping it on an inked up gingham stamp.  I then cut out the eggs and stamped the background with some more gingham to continue the theme.  One Easter card down….many to go.  The card details are at the bottom.

Hope you are having a blissful day!  Thanks for stopping by….

Supplies:

  • Cardstock:  White (Georgia Pacific)
  • Ink: Hawaiian Shores (PTI)
  • Stamps:   Teeny Trees (Waltzingmouse); Happy Day (PTI)
  • Accessories:  Hawaiian Shores satin ribbon (PTI); Dimensionals
