Make It Monday #70 – Christmas Card

Here’s my card for this MIM #70 challenge .  I was stumped by the puffed fabric accents…couldn’t figure out what image to puff out.  So after a look through my fabric collection I decided the fabric I have would make a pretty Christmas tree.  I loved this fabric when I first saw it…and it was sitting around for a year waiting for Erin’s tutorial so I could put it to some good use.  I actually am very happy with the result!  You just never know what you are going to end up with when you start.  Card details are at the bottom.

Hope you are having a blissful day!  Thanks for stopping by….

  • Stamps: Stocking Prints (Papertrey)
  • Accessories:  Christmas Tree die (Papertrey); The Wonders of Winter fabric (Northcott); Silver super fine detail EP (Ranger); Rhinestones (Recollections; Me and My Big Ideas)

  1. Gorgeous and the fabric is perfect, I had to look to see if you stamped it. This tree is one of my favorites. You did a beautiful job with this one!

  2. Beautiful card, that material makes a really lovely tree. Plus as an extra bonus you have a jump start on your Christmas cards :o)

  3. Kristie, your card is beautiful. Just finished my card using the tree die from In The Meadow. This was quite the challenge being very limited with fabric and a die that would work together. Figured something is better than nothing!
