Waltzingmouse Pajama Party – Christmas Tag Challenge

It’s time for Waltzingmouse’s Pajama Party!  There are 5 challenges….this card is for the Christmas tag category.  See this Waltzingmouse blog post for more details about the challenges and everyone else’s beautiful tags!

I had fun with this tag.  The toughest part was fitting the image on the card so that the image could still be seen.  The other issue is not smearing white ink…hate when that happens!  It usually happens at the very end when I am edging the card/tag with white ink and then I mark the card with a lovely thumbprint.  Ugh!  I was being very careful on this tag to not have any mistakes.

I absolutely love the images in Festive Foliage!  Claire’s pinecone image is gorgeous!   I also love the white, black, and red colors together for Christmas!  Supplies are listed below.

  • Cardstock: True Black (Papertrey)
  • Stamps:  Festive Foliage (Waltzingmouse); Old Fashioned Christmas (Waltzingmouse)
  • Ink:  Versamark; Fresh Snow (Papertrey)
  • Accessories: Mat Stack 5 die (Papertrey); White embossing powder (Superior); Rouge embossing powder (Zing, American Crafts); tinsel ribbon
