Papertrey Ink’s January 2014 Blog Hop

Today is Papertrey’s January Blog Hop.  The challenge for the hop is to use only pink and neutrals on your card.  Here’s inspiration photo collage for the challenge.

This card starts with a distressed pink background.  I die cut heart borders and laide them on the distressed background.  I then misted the card front with a perfect pearl mist.  The hearts show up as a darker pink with no shimmer.  Supplies are listed at the bottom.  The heart in Love was distressed, stamped and then covered with glossy accents.  Enjoy the blog hop!

  • Cardstock: White (Georgia Pacific)
  • Ink:  Picked Raspberry (Tim Holtz); Black Onyx (Versafine)
  • Stamps: Happiness in Bloom (Papertrey Ink)
  • Accessories: Perfect Pearls, mister, Wonderful Words: Love die (Papertrey Ink); Heart Border die (Papertrey Ink); Picket Fence spray (Dylusions); glossy accents (Ranger)
