World Card Day Card – Creating a Background

Winnie & Walter has a challenge to create a stamped background for a card to celebrate World Card Day.  I love this challenge so much that I made two cards.  I opted to add use gold paint so I could use them both for this challenge and the W&W’s gold challenge too.  And while we are at it, I am also submitting it for Simon Says Stamp WCD challenge.  Here is the first one, a background of gold sunflowers using paint.  Happy crafting!  Supplies are listed below.

  • Stamps:  Simple Sunflower (Papertrey)
  • Ink:  Versamark (Tsukineko); Ripe Avocado (Papertrey)
  • Accessories:  Gold Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder (Ranger), Yellow Gold Metallic Acrylic Paint (Martha Stewart); Nutmeg Silks Acrylic Glaze (Luminarte)
