Papertrey’s Make It Monday – Pearlized Blending and Fresh Made Sketches Challenge 210

Just in the nick of time….  Why is it that I always am doing everything in the nick of time?  Oh well, got some wonderful crafting time while the hubby and boys are watching football.  Got to love football season for uninterrupted crafting time.

I am combining two challenges this week, Papertrey MIM challenge of pearlized blending and Freshly Made Sketches Challenge 210 for the card layout.  The Take Three die works perfectly for the Freshly Made Sketch!

FMS Final 210-001

Love the pearlized blending technique!  It turns out so pretty in real life.  Great technique Lizzie!  I wanted some snowflakes to go with the pretty pearlized blending.  I ended up with two cards since I swear it always take a practice card to get the dimensions and color lined up.  Looking at the photos, I actually like the first one best because of the coloring, but like the snowflake sizes better on the second.  I also edged the front panel by sponging some spring rain along the edge for the first one and versamark and perfect pearls on the second.  Hope you are enjoying everyone’s pretty cards!  Supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting and hope you week starts off well!
