Papertrey Ink’s Make It Monday Challenge – Cover Plate Watercoloring

Yikes!  This week’s Papertrey Make It Monday challenge of using a cover plate die cut to watercolor was more than a little challenging.  I’m just not good with messy even though that’s what lots of watercoloring is.  So I was stressing about how much I was bleeding around the die cut windows.  I need to learn to let go.  It’s a life long lesson for me.  So kept it pretty simple since the focal point is the watercolored fall tree.  Hope you are enjoying all of the pretty cards in this challenge.  Happy crafting!  Supplies are listed below.

  • Accessories: Mighty Oak die (Papertrey); Gold Embossing Powder (Ranger); Inktense Pencils (Derwent)
