Freshly Made Sketches #217 – Card 2 and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – Winter Wonderland

Here’s my 2nd card for  Freshly Made Sketches #217 .  I am also submitting this for Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge this week.  The SSS challenge a Winter Wonderland theme.  I love snowflakes so it was easy to make a card that combines these two challenges.   Snowflakes work so well with this sketch!

I love purples and blues!  I decided to use a favorite technique of mine, inking up an embossing folder to stamp with.  I love the soft edges and ink blending you get with it!  I was going for clean and simple but it just needed sequins.  Doesn’t everything?  Supplies are listed below.  Hope you are getting some crafting time in with the holidays!  Happy Holidays!

  4. This turned out beautifully! I think that’s a brilliant idea to use your embossing folder as a stamp and your card shows just how amazing that technique can be. And yes! Of course everything is better with the addition of sequins! This is filled with a wonderful sense of frosty loveliness and I’m so glad you shared it with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Hope 2016 brings you all sorts of crafty goodness!
