Papertrey’s Release Day 3 Challenge: Florals

I’m getting caught up on Papertrey’s 10th Anniversary festivities and new release blog posts.  Oh my goodness are there are lot of goodies coming.  Here is my card for today’s challenge on florals.  I’m keeping this short and sweet since I have several more cards to post tonight.  Hope you got some crafting in this weekend!  Supplies are listed below.

Supplies:

  • Cardstock; Amethyst Allure (Papertrey); New Leaf (Papertrey); Watercolor (Ranger)
  • Ink: Versamark
  • Stamps: Botanical Blocks II (Papertrey)
  • Accessories: Clear embossing powder (Stampendous); Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame Die (My Favorite Things)

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge – Green

The Curtain Call challenge is to use green for your inspiration.  I tend to use green as an accent color, as in leaves on a pretty floral card, rather than making it the primary focus.

I ended up making three since I wasn’t quite satisfied with any of them.  My favorite of the group is the top one.  The supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting!

Papertrey’s February Blog Hop

Papertrey’s February Blog Hop uses an interesting inspiration photo.  It was intimidating with all that dark gray.  I tried several different backgrounds and ultimately ended up lightening it up by creating more of a watercolor look.  I’m in a hurry to get this up since I am running out of time.  Supplies are listed below.

Papertrey’s Celebration of Past, Present, and Future: 2015

I finally am caught up on my Papertrey 10th Anniversary blog hops and made a card for today’s challenge….stamps from 2015.  Anybody who thinks cardmaking is fast is in a different class from me.  I think most of my Sunday has been taken up on this card.  Playing around and around with the stamp set and finally something comes together that I can make look the way I think it should.  I used Brushed Blooms, one of the stamp sets highlighted today by Nichole.  Love this stamp set!  Hope you like the card!  Supplies are listed below.

Papertrey’s Celebration of Past, Present, and Future: 2013

Can you believe I don’t have a single of the 2013 stamps highlighted for Papertrey’s 10th anniversary celebration?   So I used Jessica Witty’s Pedal Pusher card as an inspiration for another 2013 stamp set, Holiday Cheer, and a stamp set from 2012, Snowflake Medley.  I wanted solid images that I could stamp with Fresh Snow on Smokey Shadow and Snowflake Medley worked well for it.  Supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting!
