I never use my border dies enough. They are so pretty and the Papertrey Ink’s Make It Monday Challenge #202 was a good reason to pull them out and get crafting. The challenge is to use your border and/or banner dies to anchor your focal point. I use my banner dies with focal points on a lot of my cards so I opted for using my border dies. The background part of my card was made by inking up my embossing folder and stamping on watercolor paper with it. Love the soft look it gives. I went with soft spring colors since some of our spring flowers are starting to come out. I watercolored the sentiment background before stamping the sentiment. I also watercolored a separate sheet of watercolor paper and then die cut the borders from it. Supplies are listed below. Hope you’re getting some good crafting time in this week!
