Simon Says Monday Challenge – Christmas in July with Tim Holtz

It’s in the 90’s this week and I am so ready for some snow.  Happy to participate in making a Christmas card or two for this week’s Simon Says Monday Challenge – Christmas in July Blog Hop.  I love this image from Tim Holtz’s Mini Holidays stamp set, his jaunty walk.  Making Christmas cards and watching Hallmark movies, I’m ready to go get the Christmas tree.  Hope you enjoy all the lovely Christmas inspiration!  Happy crafting!  Supplies are listed below.

  • Cardstock:  Smokey Shadow (Papertrey); Page from book
  • Ink:  Onyx Black (Versafine); Versamark
  • Stamps:  Mini Holidays 5 (Tim Holtz); Peaceful Pinecones (Papertrey); Winter Cheer Tag (Hero Arts)
  • Accessories: Gold embossing powder (Ranger); gold tinsel embossing powder; pearls

Simon Says Winter Inspiration Challenge – card 3

Don’t fall over….here I am with another post.  Here’s another winter inspired card for Simon Says Stamp’s current challenge.  I was inspired by the pine cone image.  I decided to make it as if you were looking out a window at it.  Card supplies listed below.  Happy crafting!

Supplies: rustic cream cardstock, vellum, wood washi tape, Peaceful Pinecones (Papertrey Ink); Made of Snow (Papertrey Ink); glitter; sequins

Papertrey Ink 2013 Stamp-A-Faire: Gallon: Quart: Pint

Love this Stamp-A-Faire challenge. It was the easiest for me to do and took at least half of the time any of the other cards took.  Love the combo of spring moss, sweet blush, and aqua mist!  And who doesn’t love vintage ornaments?  Love this Papertrey Ink stamp set.  It was one of the first stamp sets I ever purchased from Papertrey.

I’ve edited this post to add that I am also including this card for the Holiday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.  I love seeing all the lovely holiday cards submitted to the challenge!  Click the link and you can see them too.

With so many cards to get loaded tonight I am skipping the usual supply list so if you have any questions, just leave me a comment and I’ll be happy to respond.
