Magazine Reject – Christmas Card (2nd of many)

As promised here is another magazine reject from the recent Papercraft’s holiday magazine submission calls.

I went back to the traditional Christmas colors.  The snowflakes are inked with pearl paint and look pretty in real life.  I loved the contrast of the silver on the sentiment tag, pearly snowflakes, and red rhinestones.  The sentiment tag was made using a Martha Stewart punch to dress up the ends.  It was a fun way to give the sentiment tag a different look.  The tag was edged with a versamark pen and then embossed.

Amuse Studio Consultant #1062

I’ve got quite a collection of wood mounted A Muse stamps and when they decided to switch to a direct sales based company on March 1st, I took the plunge.   I got my kit two weeks ago, but work (lots of traveling) kept me from playing with my new toys until last weekend.  I made a few cards and if I get the chance, will try to get some decent photos of them to get them on the blog.

I love the range of card styles I was able to make….from serene sympathy card which I tend to avoid making since I think it’s inviting disaster, to light-hearted note card.  But I’ll let you be the judge of the cards.  Please drop me a line if you are curious about any of products or are wanting to order something.
