Sorry I’ve been away for a while….the kids and I both had a cold and allergies that have had us coughing and sneezing for a month and then we had a very close family friend who was in the hospital and recently died. So I haven’t felt like crafting in a long while. But like my mom always said ….start doing it and the joy of doing it will come back. If you wait for it to arrive to start you will be waiting for a while. Besides….I have so many supplies in my craft room that I am required by law to not let them waste away for long. Okay to my card.
The last 2 Papercraft submission calls focused on Christmas cards. None of my submissions got picked up so I will have several posts for you showing the rejects over the next week or so.
I love the snow man stamp but every time I make it I have trouble making his face as cute as I think it should be. Think I should have passed on the rhinestone eyes. Oh well. Live and learn. The snow drifts are using scor-tape adhesive sheets and glitter. But I learned that on dark backgrounds that some of my glitter looks green not white as seen by the background drift. The closer drift was adhesive sheet over white cardstock and it looked white. Imagine that. Lesson learned!
