Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge – Winter Stamping, Card 4

My older stamps needed some love from me so I used them to make this card for Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge of winter stamping.  Love the font from warm wishes…works well with the current trend of handwritten looking sentiments.  Provided some shading to the sentiment with my Copic pen. Happy crafting!  Supplies listed below.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday’s Challenge – Card 3

So it’s coming down to the final hours of Simon Says Stamp Wednesday’s 2 week Challenge and since was into a great crafting groove, I decided to make some more cards for this challenge.  I’ve had this set from Stampin Up since it came out last year but hadn’t put any ink on it yet.  I thought the dog faces were so cute.

Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge – Card 4

Here’s the forth card for the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  The challenge is to use something old and new.  This is my last card that I made using Bud Basics from Stampin’ Up.    This time I paired it up with the sentiment from Technique Tuesday’s May Day Greenhouse Society stamp set that came out this year and hasn’t gotten any use until tonight.  I kept it clean and simple for this one.  Hope your 2015 is starting with some quality crafting time!

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – Card 1

I’m up late making cards and decided to make some for the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  The challenge is to use something old and new.  I am needing some more birthday cards and recently picked up Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and You stamp set.  I paired it up with the very old Bud Basics from Stampin’ Up.  Even though it’s an older flower stamp set, I still like those flowers.  I liked it enough that I ended up making several cards with it tonight.  Hope your 2015 is starting with some quality crafting time!

Quick and Easy Card

So I’ve had very little time for crafting lately…between getting the taxes done, work and trying to get the garden in since the sun has finally appeared.  I am sharing a card that came together very fast and requires no stamping and it uses up some of my big stash of embellishments.

Hope you are having a blissful day!  Thanks for stopping by….

Supplies:

  • Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie (Stampin Up)

  • Accessories:  Scallop punch (Stampin Up); Circle Punch (Marvy); Rub-on sentiment (Stampin Up); Flower sticker (Martha Stewart)

Manly Card

It seems I never have a manly card when I need one.  My hubby, brother and father would all wrinkle their nose at a card that has ribbons, glitter or jewels.  So that takes out most of the cards I make.  So typically I sit down and pull out my masculine sets and make up several cards.  Sometimes they are like this one with no external sentiment.  That way I can use it for Father’s Day or birthday.

I love this old stamp set from Stampin Up.  I used the fly stamp to make up the background.  Also…love this cardstock combo.  One of my favorites!

Hope you are having a blissful day!  Thanks for stopping by….
