World Card Day Card – Creating a Background, Take 2

Winnie & Walter has a challenge to create a stamped background for a card to celebrate World Card Day.  Here’s the 2nd card….definitely like the previous one better but you can be the judge.  TI opted to add use gold paint so I could use them both for this challenge and the W&W’s gold challenge too.  And while we are at it, I am also submitting it for Simon Says Stamp WCD challenge.  Here is the first one, a background of gold sunflowers using paint.  Happy crafting!  Supplies are listed below.

Masculine World Card Day Card

How about a masculine World Card Day card?  Winnie and Walter is celebrating WCD with several challenges and one of them is to create a masculine card.  It seems like I never have one when I need one so opted to focus on making one for an upcoming graduation.  I went for a very graphic look.  The lines are cut from cardstock and the cheers from fun foam so they give the card some nice dimension.  I am also submitting this card for Simon Says Stamp’s WCD challenge and Papertrey’s Make it Monday challenge to use stripes..  Check out the other cards that have been made for W&W, Papertrey  MIM, and Simon Says Stamp challenges.  Happy crafting!  Supplies are listed below.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – Card 1

I’m up late making cards and decided to make some for the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  The challenge is to use something old and new.  I am needing some more birthday cards and recently picked up Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and You stamp set.  I paired it up with the very old Bud Basics from Stampin’ Up.  Even though it’s an older flower stamp set, I still like those flowers.  I liked it enough that I ended up making several cards with it tonight.  Hope your 2015 is starting with some quality crafting time!
