World Card Day

Happy World Card Day!  Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.  I’ve absent for a bit.  Day to day responsibilities seem to be ruling my life lately.  But I wanted to submit a card for Simon Says Stamp’s celebration of World Card Day and for WPlus9’s Throw Back Thursday #7.  As much as I love my flowers, it was fun to pull out a great autumn set, WPlus9’s Pretty Patches: Pumpkin set.  I kept my card pretty simple but love how it turned out.  Supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting!

Wplus9 Birthday Celebration – week 4

It’s been a long week!  Finally had time and energy to make a card for Wplus9’s last week of the birthday celebration.  The challenge was to stretch yourself….well I stretched myself right into not liking my card.  But stretching is always good for my crafting skills.  Hopefully my next time will turn out more to my liking.  I wanted to add ribbon but couldn’t find the right shade.  Now that I’m looking at it, maybe sequins. Ugh! My card has 3 trends, handwriting, metallic, and diagonals/stripes. I used up some of the supplies I had left over from my CardMaker project that will be on their blog on the 24th.  I used two layers of the vellum to give a nice criss-cross pattern.  Supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting!
