A hearts shaker Card for Melissa’s Fab Friday Challenge and Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge

I combined Ink to Paper’s Melissa’s Fab Friday Challenge of creating a heart card with Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge to create a shaker card. I find shaker cards hard work so I look for ways to make it easy like using dies to create the shaker frame. I know it’s an old die, but Papertrey’s Cover Plate: Heart die works great for creating heart windows to use in a shaker card. I used a few of the die-cut hearts on a goodie bag to use to give some candy with the card. Supplies are listed in the photo caption. Happy crafting!

The card is made using Papertrey’s Cover Plate: Heart die to cut the card front cardstock and fun foam. I used red cardstock as the background for the back of the shaker card so attached it to the prepared fun foam layer and added some gold seed beads to each heart window. I then heat embossed the sentiment from Papertrey’s Falling Leaves stamp set in gold embossing powder on the prepared card front. I thought the sentiment falling for you goes perfect with a shaker card. I then wound gold twine around the card and assembled the card, carefully aligning the heart windows. The cute goodie bag was made using Papertrey’s Favor It Box #3 Die.

Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge and Ink to Paper Project: Reach Out Birthday Challenge

I made a set of cards using a set of supplies for Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes and Ink to Paper’s Project Reach Out Birthday Challenges. I enjoy making a set of cards when I sit down to craft since I already have all my supplies in front of me and I can use the same supplies to try different looks. I made six cards and after making the initial birthday cards, I made a few other sentiment cards. I might package off a few of them and include them as a small gift with the birthday card. Hope you’re able to get some crafty time in! Supplies are listed below.

My favorite card of the bunch even though it’s a relatively simple card. I used Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die and stamps and Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, twice, Wink of Stella, and Versamark Onyx Ink.
I tried to create a bit more visual interest with this card by using Copics to ombre color the Sending word die cut and pop up the flowers in the corners. I used Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die, Sending die, and stamps and Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, Copics, Wink of Stella, and Papertrey ink.
I added a cardstock mat to change the look on this card. I used Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die, sentiment die, and stamps, Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, twice, clear Wink of Stella, and Papertrey Ink and hibiscus burst cardstock.
Went for a lavender and blue color pallet for this card. I used Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die, sentiment die, and stamps, Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, winter wisteria and spring rain Papertrey cardstock, Wink of Stella, and onyx black Versafine ink.
A sweet thank you card…. I used Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die, sentiment die, and stamps, Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, vintage jadeite and orange zest Papertrey cardstock, Wink of Stella, and Papertrey ink.
For my last card I used the Paptertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write Make It Market kit’s notecard die, flower spray stamps and die, Papertrey’s Don’t Forget to Write pattern paper along with some gems, vintage jadeite Papertrey cardstock, Versafine onyx black ink, colored pencils, and Papertrey ink.

Simon Says Stamptember Clearly Besotted Challenge and Ink To Paper Laurie’s Fabulous Favorites ChallengeThings

I combined two challenges for this card, Simon Says Stamptember Clearly Besotted Challenge and Ink To Paper’s Laurie’s Fabulous Favorites Challenge.  I CASEd Laurie Schmidlin’s poinsettia card shown here.  I wasn’t ready to dig into my Christmas stuff quite yet so decided to color one of the sheets from Papertrey’s Bold Blossom color sheets.  I colored the flowers with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents and Wink of Stella to the flowers for visual interest.  Clearly Besotted’s stamp set Fancy Sayings has the prettiest font and is one of my favorite font styles.  I stamped it on a banner to mimick Laurie’s sentiment tag.  Stamp supplies are listed below. Happy crafting!
