Papertrey’s Transformation Tuesday Challenge #18

I still had Brushed Blooms stamp set sitting out on my desk from on of my previous Transformation Tuesday challenges and decided to up my game with the stamp set one more time for this week’s Papertrey Transformation Tuesday #18 Challenge.  Yes, my desk is a disaster since I never want to spend the time putting stuff away.  I wanted to create a more elegant card with the stamp set and used a layer of vellum to soften the images the way that the watercolor stamping does.  I also wanted the images along the bottom of the card rather than frame the sentiment.  My card below is the transformed card and the two previous cards using the Brushed Bloom sets are below.  Supplies are listed below.

Papertrey Transformation Tuesday Challenge

I decided to go back to a floral card I did in 2017 and wanted to spruce it up a bit for Papertrey Transformation Tuesday Challenge.   Here’s a look at my original card.

My original card seemed too messy.  I liked it but I wanted less variety in flower colors and wanted the sentiment to be framed by the flowers.  I much prefer my transformation card.  Supplies are listed below.

Papertrey’s 11th Anniversary Day 8 Color Challenge

Today’s challenge for Papertrey’s 11th Anniversary is to use one of the color swatches to make a project.  If you looked at my last 2 cards, you could probably guessed which color swatch I picked.  I picked the one with aqua mist, tropical teal, green parakeet, winter wisteria and royal velvet.  I decided to do a bit of watercoloring using my Papertrey inks.  I ended up thinking the colors were too vibrant so created a front panel from vellum to soften the look.  Hope your week is starting off well!  Supplies are listed below.

Papertrey SAF 10th Tin + Aluminum Challenge

This actually the first card I’ve made for Papertrey’s SAF since I was gone last weekend.  We are in the process of moving so my supplies are extremely limited.  I ended up using aluminum foil for Papertrey’s aluminum challenge and various embossing powders.  I wanted to soften the finished look so used a tracing paper overlay.  The finished tarnished looking card front was really pretty but didn’t go well with my vellum butterflies.  Anyway….supplies are listed below.  Happy crafting

Supplies:

  • Cardstock:  Tin foil, Vintage Cream (Papertrey); Tracing paper; Vellum (Papertrey)
  • Ink: Versamark; Onyx Black (Versafine)
  • Stamps: Make It Market Kit: Color Pop Butterflies (Papertrey); Brushed Blooms (Papertrey)
  • Accessories: Gold, Plantinum, White, Clear embossing powder; embossing folder; Pearl Nuvo

Papertrey’s Celebration of Past, Present, and Future: 2015

I finally am caught up on my Papertrey 10th Anniversary blog hops and made a card for today’s challenge….stamps from 2015.  Anybody who thinks cardmaking is fast is in a different class from me.  I think most of my Sunday has been taken up on this card.  Playing around and around with the stamp set and finally something comes together that I can make look the way I think it should.  I used Brushed Blooms, one of the stamp sets highlighted today by Nichole.  Love this stamp set!  Hope you like the card!  Supplies are listed below.
